 WOW So I guess with tumblr effectively killing itself I'm going to be using this a lot more?

Gonna try and repost some of my old meta things I guess.

It really is kind've a bummer. I've used that site for YEARS now, it's a shame its poor management is finally catching up to it.

But maybe this'll be good, too. Was kind've getting tired of tumblr's weirdly toxic fandom climate. Maybe things dispersing a bit more and collecting in places that are better managed and more private will make things less stressful.

I think I've had my account since 2010? 8 years holy crap. It's been spiraling downward for a while now. There's just.. so many other routes they could've gone to save the site. I'm not deleting my blog but jeez.

Dreamwidth and pillowfort sound like they're going to be a lot better for fandom anyway. Built in filters, ability to choose who can see what, etc.
